Solutions · Kansas and Missouri
A destination playground is the one families drive across the county for: a custom tower, a theme that belongs to the town, turf you can run on in April, water play beside it and shade over all of it. ATHCO has designed and built them for cities across Kansas and Missouri, and our team handles the whole project under one contract.
Custom Landscape Structures Hedra towers at High Park, Derby, Kansas · Photo: Landscape Structures
Custom Landscape Structures towers (the Hedra triple tower at High Park, the river-themed tower at Rotary Park), themed and sculptural play like the pollinator playground at Wallace Park, synthetic turf with inlaid graphics, Aquatix splash pads and SkyWays shade designed together rather than added later. We bring the park board renderings, not a catalog page.
Demolition, footings, equipment, surfacing, drainage, shade, shelter and site furnishings delivered by ATHCO as a single package. Cities can purchase through ATHCO's Greenbush contract, pre-bid through Greenbush's RFP process, or we bid as part of a larger park contract.
Turf that drains after a plains thunderstorm, shade rated for our wind, equipment serviced by a team based in Lenexa rather than a dealer three states away.
