The project
Simpson Park's playground has a tall red Landscape Structures tower with a spiral slide on one side and an enclosed tube slide on the other, a climbing sphere, bubble panels and a ramp onto the deck, on a poured-in-place surface under mature trees.
ATHCO supplied the playground as Landscape Structures' representative for Missouri and still looks after it, replacing panels when they wear. ATHCO has since worked with the city on Danner Memorial Park. Simpson Park is a small-town example of a destination playground.
