Harmony Middle School: six backstops and a competition volleyball court

The project
Harmony Middle School's multipurpose addition needed a gym that works for practice and competition. ATHCO supplied six Porter side-fold backstops so the hall can be used as cross-court practice courts, a Powr-Rib II competition volleyball system with brass-covered floor sleeves, and 44 three-inch SuperSafe wall pads in the school's red, white and blue.
ATHCO carried the project from bid through submittal review with the architect, a change order during construction, and the close-out operation-and-maintenance packet the district keeps on file. It is a typical middle-school package for Kansas and Missouri districts adding gym space under a bond program.
