Blue Valley Southwest: a new gym for the Timberwolves

The project
Blue Valley Southwest added an auxiliary gym in 2025–26, and ATHCO was the gymnasium-equipment subcontractor to Straub Construction. The Porter Athletic package includes six ceiling-hung backstops on Powr-Touch electric controls, a fold-up competition volleyball system with floor sleeves and judges' stand, a batting and golf cage, and three-inch SuperSafe wall padding around the court in the school's green.
ATHCO also supplied the scoreboards and shot-clock supports and produced the Timberwolves scorer's-table graphic, working the layout through the architect's review process. PE-stamped point loads went to the structural engineer early so the backstops could hang directly from the bottom chord of the roof steel.
