Sugar Creek sits on the Missouri River at the edge of Independence, a city of about 3,300 that wanted a splash park its families could walk to. ATHCO supplied an Aquatix AquaSmart package: pre-engineered spray features and mechanicals that come as one kit with stamped drawings, the right scale for a small city budget and a single-season build.
Sweet Water opened in 2022 and Landscape Structures sent a photographer that August. Together with Higginsville it shows the AquaSmart route for Kansas and Missouri communities that want water play without a custom design.
